The Blogs Of A Driven Professional People Photographer
Portraits, corporate headshots and actors headshots
Welcome to the page that contains the blogs of a professional people photographer who loves nothing more than working with his subjects. Portraits, corporate headshots and actors headshots are so important to me. On this page I hope to explain why I do what I do and how I do it. There’s a lot to get through, so some posts I will break down into parts. Others will be single posts, but I hope you find them all interesting.
Driven by passion
I love what I do. I was lucky enough to pursue my dream of going full-time with my nearly ten years ago. I was about to be made redundant from my previous job. I ploughed most of my savings into new kit, a new website and a host of software. I was driven by passion then for what I do, and I still am. This is not work for me, it’s a pleasure.
What will be here?
I am not a prolific writer. Photography is my passion so that is what I spend most of my time doing. I will be posting from time to time. There will certainly be posts about my portraits, corporate headshots and actors headshots work. I am currently working through a series of posts about the way I shoot portraits. You will see many comments in those posts about having a good camera. That’s my dry sense of humour coming through. I will be looking at the equipment I use in a bit of detail. Just about anything is fair game, so watch this space! Come back to see what appears on the blogs of a driven professional people photographer.
About my portfolios
I am very strict about client confidentiality. On rare occasions I might ask a portrait client if I can use a few images on this site and my social media. I will never ask that of my corporate and actor clients. As a consequence the images you see here are posed by models. That gives me the opportunity to showcase my work and style without ant confidentialty issues. If you want to see full galleries of any of the models featured here you can. Simply head to my partner site at PicTime to see them.

New Website, New Blog
One little decision, lots of changes Well, here I go again. This is the fourth or fifth iteration of my website. Most of the previous versions were driven by technology changes, but this version of the website was created because I waved goodbye to wedding…
