Top quality portrait packages competitively priced
Portrait packages – studio or location?
Thanks for taking a look at my portrait packages. The vast majority of my portrait work is done in a superbly appointed studio in Milton Keynes. I have access to all of the kit and accessories that I need to hand. There is a great changing room for my subject too. I am extremely flexible though. Gone are the days when portraits absolutely had to be produced in a studio. Portable lighting means that I can come to you, instead of you going to the photographer. You can also have a portrait done in your own special location should you wish to. From a room in your house to the seaside or standing in a field of barley, get your portrait taken wherever you like. Contact me for further details.
Session times
Two hours is the minimum period for all of my portrait packages. That might seem like quite a long time, but when you take into account the time required to get your make-up and hair sorted out, and time in between changes of clothing, it really is the minimum amount. We will also need some time at the end of the shoot to discuss what you want to do with your images. The time will fly by!
Photo sessions prices
I like to keep my portrait photography prices as simple as possible. There are only two packages, one for a studio session and the other for a home or location shoot. You can see my studio photography pricing and my location or outdoor photoshoot prices below in the two photo boxes.

Preparation
Preparation is the key to producing excellent portraits. Download my free portrait guide to help you on your way.
After the session
Your portrait photos will be uploaded to your own password protected gallery so you can choose those that you want to download in full resolution, ready for you to print. I am a huge advocate of the printed image. I cannot stress enough the beauty of a printed image. You can purchase top quality printed products direct from your gallery if you choose, from your own online shop. I am always happy to chat about that option.
Gift a session
A portrait photography session is a great gift for a birthday or someone special at Christmas. Your children or grand-children would love a portrait of you to hang on their wall and keep for ever, it is something to remember you by. Memories are valuable and nothing invokes them like a good portrait.
Add a printed product
Downloads are great, and you can print from them without an issue if you choose. You can also buy prints from me or from your gallery if you have access to one. I offer professional grade prints from a top UK based photo lab at very competitive prices. Not only do I offer prints, wall hanging products are also available. Take a look at the products shown below to get further information.
FAQs
How long does a portrait headshot session take?
My bookings start at two hours minimum. That might sound like a long time, but you won’t believe how much there is to cram in during that period. Clothing and hair changes take time to get right!
Studio, home or location. Which is best?
For portrait photography, working in a studio ensures the most consistent results. Everything is controllable, including the lights, background and posing. I use a superbly well-appointed studio just outside of Milton Keynes that has everything we need all in one place. Your home is another option, but it is not the best. Although it is convenient for you, most domestic properties don’t provide the space I need to work. I need to get my lights high, and ceilings in domestic properties are much too low. I can also work from a pop-up studio in Huntingdon if the big studio is too far away to travel to. It doesn’t offer all the facilities of the big studio but is better than a domestic dwelling. Outdoors is a great place to be, provided the weather is kind.
Can I bring someone with me to my portrait session?
Yes, you can. I always find it great to have an assistant who can help me get you looking your best with those tweaks to your hair and clothing.
What happens after the photo session?
I’ll get on with all the editing. When I’ve finished, I will upload the images to a private gallery, and you can select those you want to download or print. The prices are as they appear in the information boxes above.
